Mike and Lorren's Hockey Rules of Order

Definition of terms:

Superstitious

An irrational belief that an object, action or circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.

Root

To take sides with, align oneself with anyone team.

Fortune-telling

Practice of predicting the future including who is going to win or lose a hockey game.

Musical Chairs

Occurs when fans rearrange their seats than what was previously set.

Wardrobe changes

Occurs when a fan alters his/her outfit during the course of a game, examples include: taking a coat on and off multiple times during the game.

Natter

To talk idly and at length about something other than hockey during the game

Rules and Policies

Root

One will only support the Kelowna Rockets. Major infraction.

Predictions

Are prohibited under all circumstances. No fortune tellers.

Musical Chairs

Forbidden under all circumstances. No changing seats. Fans will choose their seat at the start of the game and will keep it for the entire game.

Wardrobe Changes

Permissible under extreme circumstances when discomfort occurs. Excuses include “I have H1N1, I need to put my coat back on.”

Natter

Tolerable only in between periods and stoppage of play.
